DESIGNER PROFILE
Bao-Wen Chen is a Taiwan fashion designer. thus sparking a new flame in my mind. Looking for new skills and ways to express myself, I enrolled in the Fashion Design School at Shih Chien University and I have never looked back!
Shih Chien has taught me a lot, not only technical skills but also valuable knowledge of how the fashion industry really works. I am now a graduate student majoring in Fashion Design and looking forward to a bright future ahead. I put a lot of effort into my graduate collection and tried skills that were new to me, such as Machine-Knitting and Felting.
Experimenting with new techniques is where I think real design happens, figuring out how to make things work and creating surprising results. and I wish to really thank everyone who helped me create it. I will never stop learning, creating and trying new and different things.

BWC is a Taiwan designer label with colorful approach to fashion and fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics. Now based in Shanghai, as one of the country’s brightest talents, Angel boasts stockists and exclusive collaborative projects with names like Selfridges, Urban Outfitters, H. Lorenzo, Lane Crawford and Luisa Via Roma, as well as earning a Forbes ’30 under 30’ title and being named as one of the BoF 500. Most recently the brand has been awarded a position in the semi-final of the prestigious 2018/19 Woolmark Prize. Presence creatively and commercially in both China and abroad,starting from 2017, ANGEL CHEN participates in Milan Fashion Weeks on schedule.
